A mid-early hybrid of universal purpose (this hybrid needs 122-125 days from sowing to harvest).
It is grown up both in open ground and in film greenhouses.
* Features of the formation of tall plants.
Tall tomatoes are best formed into only one stem, leaving no more than 7-8 brushes on it and removing all stepchildren until their length exceeds 3-4 cm.
In such a formed form, the plants are better illuminated and ventilated, and it is easier to care for them.
These varieties not only stepchild but also pinch, i.e. remove their growth point on the left shoots.
Pinching should be done five weeks before the end of cultivation, i.e. at the very beginning of the first decade of August.
Above the left inflorescences with already set fruits, 2-3 leaves are left.
Simultaneously with the pinching, it is necessary to remove all inflorescences in the budding phase or after flowering,
because from these buds, flowers, and even from small ovaries, the fruits will not have time to grow.
* Soil for tomatoes.
The tomato feels very good on sandy or loamy soils, which have good moisture capacity and breathability.
In the protected ground, you can use the same soil, filling it well with organic and mineral fertilizers.
It is best to place a tomato in the open ground according to its predecessors - cabbage, cucumbers, etc.
In the greenhouse, it is most often planted after cucumbers, which are intensively fed with nitrogen during their growth.
In the early spring months, this leads to excessive vegetative growth of tomato plants, which delays the generation of plants.
This can be eliminated by the preliminary introduction of nitrogen-binding materials into the soil: straw and sawdust.
Tomato requires soil acidity of 6-6.5 pH (acidic soils should be limed, otherwise many nutrients will be in a form inaccessible to the plant).
